This system is used by Yachi University to manage students, courses, grades and attendance. This page explains what information it keeps and why.

What information we keep

Account information: your name and email address, and your role (administrator, teacher or student).
Student records: student number, department and program, year of study, and contact details the school office enters.
Academic records: course enrollments, grades and transcripts, and class attendance.
Change history: a record of who changed a grade and when, kept for accountability.

Signing in with Google

If you choose "Continue with Google", Google tells us only your name and email address. We do not receive your Google password, and we do not access your Gmail, contacts, files or any other Google data.

How we use the information

To let you sign in and to show you only the information your role allows.
To record and show enrollments, grades, transcripts and attendance.
To send system emails, such as account confirmation and password reset.

We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. The site does not use advertising or analytics trackers.

Who can see it

Students can see only their own records.
Teachers can see only the students and courses assigned to them.
Administrators (the school office) can see and manage all records.

New accounts see no student data until the school office approves and links them.

Where it is stored

Data is stored with Supabase, a database and authentication service. The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Your browser keeps a sign-in session on your device so you stay signed in; it is removed when you sign out.

How long we keep it

Academic records are kept for as long as the university needs them for its student records. You can ask the school office to correct information that is wrong.
